* Do you know what the FQDN is?
Suggested article from our blog: What is FQDN? What does FQDN do?
FQDN explained:
Fully Qualified Domain Name is the fullest, most accurate location in the tree of DNS hierarchy. It usually has 3 elements. The first can be the host or a specific protocol – www., ftp, mail, or another. The second is the domain name like Google, ClouDNS, etc. And the last part is the TLD - .com, .info, .org, etc.
FQDN example.
Looking at one website www.spotify.com, we can see the 3 parts clearly. The TLD, in the end, is .com. The domain is Spotify, and the www is the host.
To be able to see the FQDN, you can do a FQDN lookup. You can follow this link here and learn how to do it.
